Upon graduating high school, Haleigh Lane Ackling received a full-ride scholarship to play volleyball at California State University Bakersfield, where she majored in communications with a concentration in public relations and minored in marketing.

After finishing school, she traveled the US for more than five years, facilitating and coordinating the Live Drive events at auto shows for Toyota and Scion. She also worked with the Caddy Girls in Southern California and hosted large charity golf tournaments throughout the West Coast.

​

In 2020, she and her husband traveled to North Idaho to spend Christmas in Dover Bay. “We fell in love with the area right away and worked as hard as we could to get here and be closer to my husband's family,” Haleigh shares. The couple has called Sandpoint, Idaho, home since January of 2022.

​

“Sandpoint is beautiful, and the people are genuine,” she says. “I've never lived in a place that cares so much about the members of their community.”

​

She joined Like Media as a marketing executive in the spring of 2022, where she’s been continuing to build strong relationships with her coworkers and her clients, adding that she has “a true feeling of fulfillment” when she goes to work each day. “I look forward to helping more small-business owners stand out and get the attention that they deserve,” Haleigh adds.

​

When not working, you can find Haleigh spending as much quality time with her son as she can. She also enjoys being involved with the community through Rotary, the Downtown Shopping Business Association, and the Bonner County Christian Business Alliance.
